About Me

I. Love. Food. That's pretty much all you need to know about me. I come from an eating family, and as a result, I love eating. More recently (in the past couple of years after moving out and gaining independence), I have discovered my passion for cooking and baking, but in particular, ensuring that I maintain a healthy/fit lifestyle.

Don't get me wrong--I loveee fatty foods (who doesn't), but I know it should be in moderation. At the same time, I refuse to subject myself to blandness and boring, tasteless healthy food, and so becomes my quest to find that good balance between fasting and eating fast food to refrain from in taking too much fat and calories.

I'm originally from Chicago, moved to DC to pursue my engineering career. Yes... I am an industrial engineer, so you will see the OCD and process efficiency and measurement themes throughout the blog. This is a way for me to keep a record of what I've done, but hopefully you can gain something from it as well!
